Established over 20 years ago, Ballinasloe Dental clinic offers a comprehensive range of dental treatments in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our aim is good dental health for you and your family through preventive dentistry.
That means giving you regular dental advice and helping you understand how to care for your teeth yourself to reduce the need for dental treatment.

Dr. Ronan McGuckin has over 20 years dental experience within the UK, Australia and Ireland.

Treatments
Dental Check ups
Dental exams should generally take place every six months. uring the checkup, an X-ray may be performed to provide a more detailed summary of your oral health and to identify potential problems.
Following your examination, we will discuss the findings with you.
Root Canal Treatments
Root canal treatment (also known as endodontic treatment) is necessary when the inside of the tooth (pulp) and surrounding area becomes infected. This can be as a result of cracking, decay or injury. Root canal treatments can save a tooth that is badly damaged or decayed. The treatment involves the pulp of the tooth being removed and the cavity sealed. Consequently, the tooth is restored.
Dental Implants
In appropriate cases, dental implants are an excellent way of replacing missing teeth. In conjunction with an Implantologist, based in Galway, we are happy to provide this service which many people find that it leads to a dramatic improvement in oral function and atheistic.
Oral Hygiene
Bacteria builds to form plaque that can harden and lead to long-term ailments such as gingivitis, a mild form of gum disease, and periodontal disease if it is not removed. Good oral hygiene can prevent these and other health problems. We recommend our patients visit at least once every 6 months to help maintain a healthy and clean mouth.
Emergency Dentistry

Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is a very straight forward procedure and can be of a noticeable and satisfying improvement. This service is readily available within the surgery, please feel free contact us to discuss.
